Installation Instructions

Proper surface preparation is essential for the correct installation of any floor covering. Ensure that the adhesive has set and dried, and that tiles are firm. Before starting to grout remove spacers and other residue in grout joints and clean dust, loose material and any other contamination with wet sponge which may interface with good bond. Do not leave water standing between grout joints. Surface temperature should be maintained between 10° C to 34° C.

The standard mixing ratio is 400 ml of ADHMix TG for 1 kg of ADHCrete 2000 series superfine grout powder. Put ADHMix TG admixture in the mixing container first, and then add ADHCRET 2000 superfine series grout. Mix with hand or slow speed mixer until it’s obtaining a homogeneous lump free paste. Let the properly mixed grout paste to slake for 5 minutes and remix.

Dampen the surface with water. Using rubber float, apply the grout to a small area at a time. Completely fill the joints leaving no voids. Excess grout should be removed immediately using a rubber float held at 90° to the tiles .Float should be moved diagonally across the tiles to prevent removal of grout within the joints. Ensure that the grout completely fills the tile joints and remove the excess material.
Grout Primary Cleaning: Remove excess grout from the face of the tiles with the edge of the grout float. Hold the float at a 90° angle and pull it at a 45° angle diagonally across the joints and tile to avoid pulling out the material.
Grout Secondary Cleaning: Remove remaining grout with a damp sponge (not wet) or a damp towel. Work diagonally to the joints. Allow to dry. When the grout joints are firm polish the surface with a coarse nylon pad or coarse cloth and minimal water.
Note: Use caution when polishing soft glazed tiles or polished stone.
